Hardware

Our hardware reached a defining milestone this month as the printed circuit board advanced to its eleventh iteration and became a finalized, professional-grade design, closing out the most demanding stretch of the electronic engineering work behind the product. Each earlier version taught us something concrete about layout, signal integrity, power routing, and manufacturability, and this eleventh revision folds all of those lessons into a single clean, production-oriented board that we are genuinely confident to build against at scale. Reaching this point means the core electronics are no longer a moving target but a settled foundation, allowing every other part of the product, from firmware to the physical enclosure, to lock in around one stable, trusted reference design. With the PCB design essentially complete, the hardware is no longer a design exercise but a defined and increasingly build-ready system, positioning us to move from schematics and simulation toward physical prototyping and, beyond that, the manufacturing conversations that turn a finished design into a real, wearable device.

Team

This month we expanded the team with two new members, Lakshita and Maheshwara, who join us across software and design and immediately strengthen our ability to build on more than one front at the same time. Both are already deep in active development, with a clear and important mandate: bringing Aura Clarus to more people by building the Android version of our iOS app and the Windows version of our Mac desktop app, so that no user is left out regardless of the devices they carry. Their arrival marks a real shift from a small core doing everything to a genuine product team with the capacity to develop, test, and refine multiple platforms in parallel rather than one after another. As they settle in we will share more about the specific work each of them is driving, but the headline is simple: our engineering and design bench is deeper than it has ever been, and that added capacity is already translating directly into faster, broader progress toward true cross-platform availability.

Product — App & Desktop

On the product side, we completed a focused round of design work across both Aura Clarus experiences, finishing the refinements to the mobile app and the desktop app that bring the whole product closer to the level of polish we want users to feel from the very first screen. The changes were less about reinvention and more about tweaking and tightening, sharpening the details of layout, flow, and visual rhythm so that every interaction feels considered, consistent, and unmistakably part of one coherent Aura Clarus experience across the phone and the desk. With these design changes now settled, the two products share a common visual language and a finished look, which removes a major source of friction as we move from designing screens to actually shipping them. The most immediate consequence of this work is the desktop app's timeline: with the design locked, we are on track to launch the Aura Clarus Desktop beta in late August, opening the door for our first desktop users to experience the product directly and giving us the real-world feedback that will guide the next stage of development.

A major milestone for our health intelligence arrived this month as we confirmed the complete set of parameters and components the app will surface, locking in a total of 519 distinct measures that together form the backbone of what Aura Clarus can see and understand about the body. Reaching a final, agreed number matters more than it might appear, because it turns an open-ended research question into a fixed specification that our software, data pipeline, and hardware can all be built and validated against with real confidence. For the moment the full breakdown of these parameters remains confidential, since the specific selection and the way we derive each measure represents a meaningful part of the intellectual property that sets our platform apart from anything else on the market. In the coming weeks we intend to share much more detail about what these parameters are and how they translate into the clear, proactive guidance our AI companion delivers, but the important progress this month is that the list is complete, confirmed, and ready to anchor everything we build next.

Backend & Cloud

Selected AWS as our backend cloud partner, with all of the formalities now completed.

Backend & Cloud

With the full set of parameters confirmed, our attention turned to the infrastructure that will process and serve all of that data, and this month we finalized AWS as the backend cloud partner that will power the Aura Clarus platform. The entire backend for the parameters described above is now being built and processed on AWS, giving us a proven, secure, and highly scalable foundation to handle continuous physiological data from every user without compromising on reliability or performance. Choosing a single, established cloud partner at this stage removes a significant unknown from our roadmap, letting us design our data architecture, security model, and scaling strategy against one well-understood environment rather than hedging across several at once. All of the formalities involved in the decision have now been completed, so this is a settled commitment rather than an ongoing evaluation, and it means the backend can move ahead in step with the app and the hardware, giving the platform a clear technical spine that runs from the device all the way to the cloud.
