We want the IBT Aura website and the Aura Clarus apps to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This statement sets out what we aim for, where we currently fall short, and how to tell us when something does not work for you.
1. Our Standard
We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our target for this website and our published documents, and we carry the same intent into the Aura Clarus apps as they mature.
2. What We Do Today
- Strong text contrast and legible type sizes across the site.
- Pages structured with meaningful headings and a logical reading order.
- Keyboard-navigable interactive elements, with visible focus indicators.
- Text alternatives for images that carry meaning.
- Plain language, with legal and technical terms explained rather than assumed.
- Respect for the operating system's reduced-motion preference in animations.
3. Where We Fall Short
We will not claim conformance we have not verified. Parts of our older article content and some areas of the apps have not yet been formally audited. Some long-form legal pages are dense, and some third-party embedded content is outside our direct control. We are working through these, and we would rather state the gap plainly than overstate our position.
4. The Apps
The Aura Clarus apps run on iOS, Android, macOS and Windows, each of which provides system accessibility features such as larger text, screen readers, high contrast and reduced motion. As the apps move toward release we are working to support those features properly and to test with them.
5. Telling Us About a Problem
The fastest way to make something accessible is to hear from the person it failed. If any part of our website, documents or apps is difficult for you to use, please write to contact@adarna.us and tell us:
- The page or screen involved and what you were trying to do.
- What went wrong.
- The assistive technology you use, if any.
We aim to reply within 3 business days. Accessibility reports are treated as priority feedback, not as feature requests.
6. If We Cannot Fix It Immediately
Where a fix will take time, we will say so honestly, offer an alternative way to get the same information or complete the same task, and keep the issue open until it is resolved.
7. Review
We review this statement as the website and apps change, and at least once a year. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
